আজকে আমরা ৫প্রকার Noun এর কিছু অজানা কথা নিয়ে আলোচনা করবো।
∎ Proper Noun
- Proper Noun এর শুরুর Latter সর্বদায় Capital Letter (বড় হাতের অক্ষর) হয়।
- The+ Proper Noun = Common Noun (তবে এক্ষেত্রে গুন বুঝাবে)। যেমন: Nazrul is the Byron of Bangladesh. এখানে The Byron = Common Noun
∎ Common Noun
1. Common Noun যদি Proper Noun এর পূর্বে' বসে, তাহলে উভয় noun ই Capital latter দিয়ে শুরু হয় । যেমন: I wanted to speak to Doctor Abtahee.
2. Common Noun কোনো Sentence এ একা বসে না । হয় সে Determiner/Article নিয়ে বসবে, নতুবা Common Noun টি Plural হবে। যেমন: I know the boy =article+singular common noun ''boy''
∎ Collective Noun
1. Collective noun + Verb (singular) হবে।
2. Doctor, Nurse, Student, Teacher এগুলো Collective noun নয় ।
∎ Material Noun
1. Material Noun, Subject হলে verb সর্বদায় singular হয়। যেমন: Water is very pure
2. Material Noun এরে পূর্বে সাধারনত Article বসে না। তবে নিদিষ্ট preposition ''of, with '' থাকলে এর পূর্বে বসে। যেমন: The water of this jar is very pure.
∎ Abstract Noun
1. '' The + abstract noun + of ......'' এই ক্ষেত্রে abstract noun টি common noun হয়। যেমন: The kindness of your makes me joyful.
2. '' The + common Noun + in....'' এই ক্ষেত্রে common noun টি abstract noun হয়। যেমন: The father in him impressed me very much.
